Join us for an evening of spooky fun and safe trick-or-treating in the Lighthouse District!

NOTE: Due to the threat of inclement weather, the event has been rescheduled fro Thursday, October 30.

The City of Kemah’s 1st Annual Trunk or Treat, Shop & Eat is set for Saturday, October 25, 2025, Thursday, October 30, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the City parking lot. This year’s theme is “The Addams Family – Creepy, Kooky, Mysterious, and Spooky!”

Whether you’re decorating a trunk or collecting candy, it’s going to be a fun-filled evening for the whole family.

For Treaters (Families)

Bring your little ghouls and goblins out for a night of safe trick-or-treating!

  • Join us for safe, walk-through Trunk-or-Treating with loads of decorated trunks and candy.
  • Wear your best costumes and bring a candy bag or bucket.
  • Stroll the Vendor Market for family finds and fall goodies.
  • Sample bites at the Taste of Kemah, featuring local favorites.
  • Free admission. Fun for all ages.
  • This is a family event; children must be supervised by an adult.
  • No pre-registration necessary.

For Trunks (Participants)

Want to be part of the fun? Businesses, community groups, and families are invited to host a decorated trunk or table!

  • Setup begins at 4:00 p.m.
  • Each trunk or table requires a separate application (each will be assigned a parking spot).
  • Family-friendly decorations only – spooky is encouraged, but gore, weapons, profanity, or inappropriate themes are not allowed.
  • Bring plenty of candy or kid-friendly giveaways for trick-or-treaters.
  • Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Late entries are not guaranteed a spot.
