In accordance with City of Kemah Ordinance Chapter 42, §42-2, all businesses operating within the city are required to undergo an Annual Fire Inspection to ensure the health and safety of the public, residents, and employees.
Annual Fire Inspections for 2026 are now being scheduled.
Please note that the inspection fee must be paid before scheduling your inspection.
To avoid delays, payment should be submitted via MyGov Portal. Once payment has been received, your inspection will be scheduled.
If you prefer to pay by mail, please include your business name, physical address, and contact information, including a phone number and email address, so we can properly apply your payment. Mail payment to:

Please keep in mind that if your business does not currently have a valid Certificate of Occupancy, you must apply for one immediately to avoid potential interruptions to business operations. Applications may be submitted through the MyGov portal.
