City Hall and Court Closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

KEMAH, TEXAS – In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all Kemah City and Court offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026. Offices will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, January 20 at 7:30 a.m.

Trash collection services will not be affected and will continue on their regular schedule.

Residents needing non-emergency assistance during the closure may contact the Kemah Police Department at (281) 334-5414.

The City encourages the community to take time to honor and reflect on the life, leadership, and enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
