Kemah’s Addams Family–Inspired Trunk or Treat, Shop & Eat Is Almost Here

Update:
Kemah’s Trunk or Treat, Shop & Eat Rescheduled to Thursday, October 30
Same time and location: 5:30–8:00 p.m., Lighthouse District City Parking Lot

Snap to it! The City of Kemah invites families, friends, and visitors to gather for a delightfully kooky evening at the annual Trunk or Treat, Shop and Eat event on Saturday, October 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the City Parking Lot, right in the heart of the Lighthouse District. Inspired by the timeless fun of The Addams Family, this year’s celebration promises candy, games, photo opportunities, a vendor market, and the Taste of Kemah, where local restaurants share some of their most popular treats.

Children are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy safe, family-friendly trick-or-treating from creatively decorated trunks hosted by local businesses, civic groups, and community members. Visitors can also check out the Kemah Boardwalk and dine locally throughout the evening as Kemah’s restaurants and attractions join in the Halloween festivities.

Mayor Robin Collins shared, “Trunk or Treat is one of our favorite community traditions. It’s a wonderful way for families to enjoy Halloween safely, support local businesses, and have fun together. Every year, we’re amazed by the creativity and community spirit that shines through.”

Businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in participating by hosting a decorated trunk are encouraged to register online at www.kemahtx.gov/Halloween. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.

This free, family-friendly event promises a “spook-tacular” time for all ages — with plenty of candy, laughter, and community fun that’s anything but ooky.
