Events this Saturday for Kemah Residents

There are several events this Saturday that Kemah residents need to know about.

Easter Eggstravaganza and Bike Rodeo

This event will be from 10 am to noon at the Kemah Community Center. We will have egg hunts for all children through the age of nine. Children 10 and older will have special activities and we’ll have some special prize bags/drawings for them.

In addition, a new event for this year will be a bicycle safety event. Kids are encouraged to bring their own bike and helmet to fully participate in this event. But, even for those without a bike, there will still be some safety info available.

So, please come and join us for this event and bring a friend. We’ll have hot dogs and other refreshments available after the hunts as well as picture opportunities with the Easter Bunny!

Texas First Bank Shred Day

Shred Day at Texas First Bank in Kemah - Saturday from 9-Noon – Public is welcome

Galveston County Household Hazardous Waste Event for 2017

Date: April 8, 2017 Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Gulf Greyhound Park (1000 FM 2004, La Marque, TX 77568)

This event allows residents of Galveston County to properly dispose of many items including but not limited to: Household hazardous waste, Electronics Items that need to be shredded, Large items (two roll off dumpsters will be available).

Although this is sponsored by other cities, Kemah residents are welcome to participate.
