Beginning Tuesday, January 18, 2022, Hanson Road, between FM2094 and Dror Lane, will be closed to vehicle traffic.

  • Hanson Road is expected to remain closed for approximately three weeks to allow contractors to do the tie-in work.
  • Hanson Road, between FM518 East and Dror Lane, will remain open.

The new two-lane roadway will connect Hanson Rd. on the north to FM518 on the south. It will also allow four-way traffic on the new signalized and redesigned intersection at FM518 and Evergreen Memorial Dr. This Galveston County project is expected to be completed in April 2022.

The City of Kemah appreciates your patience and cooperation during this construction project.
