All credit and debit card payments will incur a 5% convenience fee (up to $8.00). *When making a payment with a credit/debit card, the cardholder must be present and must present a valid photo ID.

Payment by Mail
You may mail a money order or cashier’s check to the address below, payable to Kemah Municipal Court, with your plea of No Contest or Guilty and a copy of your citation.

A payment received through the mail without a plea or other indicator will be recorded as a plea of No Contest.
Payment In Person
In person payments can be made during our regular business hours:
Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday from 8:00 a.m. to Noon
Payment Online
Full payment of your fine and existing payment plans/extensions for your fine can be paid online at:

Juvenile offenders will not be able to pay online.
Payment Arrangements
If you wish to request a payment plan or payment extension for your fine(s), you may make your request in person at the Municipal Court during regular business hours. Only the individual who received the citation can make this request.
Important Information
If you wish to plea Not Guilty, do not make payment of your fine. The case will need to be set for a Virtual Pre-Trial Hearing. Go to the Request a Virtual Court Hearing section for more information on how to request a Virtual Court Hearing.
If you have an active warrant, your warrant will remain outstanding until the court receives your internet payment during regular business hours. Payments made after regular business hours will be processed the following business day.
